I plan on collecting a lot more DVDs from Music Video Distributors.
I spent a lot of my weekend watching this Johnny Thunders video.

Pretty sad stuff. Its amazing that he lived for ten more years after this concert was recorded in 1981.
He's nodding off on stage and forgetting the words to songs. Considering how high he was, he manages to pull off some guitar playing alright, but its just lifeless.
Other members of the band attempt to fill in the energy, but they just can't hold a flame to the expectations you'd have if Thunders was at his best.
L.A.M.F. is on my list of top records that energize me... wake me up. Some things, I can listen to over and over, in different ways and love it more and more. I am thankful to the person who gave it to me, and wish I'd found it years and years ago, when I was younger and more impressionable.
Anyway, its really disappointing to see his songs treated so shabbily.

I've been checking out B. Balthazar from Chokebore's solo stuff online. I am really liking it, but pretty frustrated at how hard it is to track down these actual records. I still havent gotten the last Chokebore CD, as it was released only in France and is costly to import.. Anyway, I really like the Flash "Intro" song on sweetreceiver.com.
