Spicy Unicorn Wontons

A meaty, unicorn-filled pocket of joy.

Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:

1 Unicorn Meat patty

1 tbs oil

1 tbs green onions

1 clove garlic

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp shaoxing wine

1 tsp ground or fresh ginger

1/2 tsp sesame oil

1/4 tsp white pepper

Wonton wrappers

Sauce:

5 tbs chili oil

2 tbs soy sauce

1 tbs black vinegar

2 tsp sugar

1 tbs green onion

1 clove garlic, grated

Instructions:

Heat a pan on medium heat with 1-2 tbs of oil and cook frozen Unicorn Meat until it is soft enough to crumble. Once it is soft, crumble the Unicorn Meat in the pan and cook for an additional 3 minutes and set aside in a bowl.

Add the green onions, garlic, soy sauce, shaoxing wine, ginger, sesame oil, and white pepper to the Unicorn Meat and stir to combine.

Place 1-2 tsp of the Unicorn Meat mixture to the center of the wonton wrapper and trace the edges with water then seal shut.

Heat a pot with water bring to a boil.

While the water is coming to a boil, mix the chili oil, soy sauce, black vinegar, sugar, green onion, and garlic in a small bowl and set aside.

Once the water is boiled, add the wontons and cook for about 2 minutes or until the wrappers look translucent.

Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the wontons and add to a bowl.

Add about 1/4 cup of the boiling water into the sauce mixture then immediately pour over the wontons.
