Unicorn Rangoons

A plant-based twist on a crowd favorite.

Level: Easy

Serves: A small group

Ingredients:

1 Unicorn Meat patty

8 oz vegan cream cheese

2 tbs green onion

1 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp salt

Wonton wrappers

Oil for frying

Sweet chili sauce for dipping

Directions:

Heat a pan on medium heat with 1-2 tbs of oil and cook frozen Unicorn Meat until it is soft enough to crumble. Once it is soft, crumble the Unicorn Meat in the pan and cook for an additional 3 minutes and set aside in a bowl.

Add the vegan cream cheese, green onion, sugar, sesame oil, and salt to the Unicorn Meat and stir to combine.

Place 1-2 tsp of the Unicorn Meat mixture to the center of the wonton wrapper.

Trace the edges with water and make a four point star by pinching the opposite corners in half and bring them together in the center.

Heat a pan with about 2” of neutral oil in a pan on medium high heat.

Once the oil is ready, cook the wontons for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Serve immediately with sweet and sour or sweet chili sauce.
